2015-04-08 15:33:52 +0200 marked best answer Hyperlink stopped working after upgrade

I upgraded Ubuntu 13.04 to 13.10 and Libreoffice version is now 4.1.2.3.

My problem is that now HYPERLINK function doesn't work anymore in my CALC sheet (below the french name of the function):

LIEN.HYPERTEXTE("vnd.sun.star.script:standard.avisEcheance.printToPdf?language=Basic&location=document";"PDF")

When I click on the cell, nothing happen whereas before, it would run basic code (instructions to print to PDF). The same for other Hyperlink calls in the file...

Is it a known bug ? I don't have anterior version of LO to have confirmation my problem is due to the upgrade though

2014-04-24 07:32:00 +0200 answered a question How to get listbox item position ?

Here is how to access the position of an item in a form listbox :

items = oListBox.selectedItems
Print items(0)

2014-04-23 07:28:35 +0200 asked a question How to get listbox item position ?

Hi,

I have a listbox in a form (ie : drawed on the spreadsheet, not in a dialog).

I use this macro to get the current value of the selected item.

oForm = ThisComponent.Sheets(0).getDrawPage().getForms().getByIndex(0)
oListBox = oForm.getByName("myListBox")
print oListBox.CurrentValue

Now I'd like to get the position of the item as a number. I checked on this API page and tried this :

print oListBox.GetSelectedItempos

but with no success.

Thank you for your ideas!

2014-04-22 09:13:53 +0200 answered a question Macro not showing up in Ubuntu 14.04 LO 4.2.3.3 Build ID: 420m0

UBUNTU 14.04 : I solved it by installing LO from the ubuntu software center. Even though LO was already installed, it appeared as NOT installed in the Ubuntu Software Center. After the installation completed, I couldn't reproduce the error. That was for UBUNTU 14.04.

LUBUNTU 14.04 : it appears that I just didn't installed the JAVA JRE which is needed to run the macro from the buttons : apt-get install openjdk-7-jre

Finally, I think that in both case, the problem was related to LO and the JRE that was not well configured. With such kind of error, you should have a look at tools > options > libreoffice / advanced > and be sure to have the right JRE detected and selected by openoffice. (LO needs to be restarted after any modifications.) image description

Hi. I have no idea why, but it's working now. I will investigate more when I'll have time (try on Lubuntu as well see if it's still bugging) ...very strange for me.

2014-04-18 16:59:25 +0200 asked a question Macro not showing up in Ubuntu 14.04 LO 4.2.3.3 Build ID: 420m0

Hi,

I have a calc file containing a Macro. In this file I have a button that trigger the PDF EXPORT macro. After upgrading to Ubuntu 14.04, have LO 4.2.3.3 installed, here is the error I have when cliking on the button (same under Lubuntu 14.04):

com.sun.star.uno.RuntimeExceptionUnable to obtain document content factory! image description

If I create a new calc, draw a form button, link it to my pdf export macro : No problem !

So I tried adding a new button on my existing sheet, assign a macro and BAM ! : No macro are displayed as available to select. See below : image description

Whereas on my new created file, I can assign a macro to my button! So the error dialog must be related to this...

Note : On my laptop Ubuntu 14.04, the problem solved by itslef...I don't know why. But on my desktop (Ubuntu 14.04) and netbook (Lubuntu 14.04) the problem remains.

2013-10-21 17:05:32 +0200 answered a question Hyperlink stopped working after upgrade

Instead of putting the HYPERLINK directly into the cell -which obviously is broken since new version 4.1.2.3 of LO- I call the LINK using a form button, and it works great.

Draw a push button, then copy your link under the "ACTION" property (which is an open web page action) in this way, you can still pass arguments to your macro:

vnd.sun.star.script:standard.avisEcheance.printToPdf?language=Basic&location=document&argument1=variable
