Is there a Microsoft Access (MDB) conversion filter available?

Is there a filter to convert Microsoft Access mdb files to odb format?

Well you are above my head and I will just have to go elsewhere and get some personal help from someone that understands this.

can you forward all above to my email?

Disregard the email as I was able to copy and paste the information.

“Closed for the following reason…”, … Not so fast! The answer is NOT an answer really, and the other answer given below works for me.

No, not directly. However you could make the data in your MS Access file accessible in a database, then access that database from Base in various ways.

You could also export the data and reimport it into Base, depending on how much data there is and what the data structures are.

One approach would be to use MySQL Migration Toolkit and go from there (on Win32 - I have not tried it with MDBtools on Linux).

Works pretty good Access 2003 -to-> MariaDB 10.1! Only the field Description → SLQ COMMENT does not migrate, and that is easily cut and paste to migrate it. (Works much better than two other methods I’ve found, in particular using LO Copy table from source LO w/ Access connector then Paste Special into target LO w/ MariaDB connector does not work very wel. It messes up order, stumbles over field type transitions, etc., but does get the comment correctly. LOL.) Thanks for tip

Expect to get the data, but don’t expect to get the forms etc - you won’t
