When I enter 41982.7500663774408167 in a cell, the result is 41982.75006637744000000. Completely useless. How can I keep all decimals?

Sorry, you can, but Calc cannot. Calc can save 15 digits only
You have exceeded the amount of digits a double can store (decimals are usually stored as doubles on a computer).
You can preced the value with a ', which will make it be interpreted as a string (a series of characters). It will enable you to store the whole value, but you cannot do calculations on it.
