Simplifying the setting for installation language

I work in China and want to install Libre Office on a Chinese computer. I am nt really a whiz on this type of stuff. I have commpared Libre Office with Apache Open Office omn a computer with English settings and can see Libr Office is pulling ahead in quality and seem to open Excel Files better.

What I am wondering if someone is looking at a way of making it easier to manually select the installation language for Libre Office eg Making it in English on a Chinese computer as I would like to install in English on my computer at home in ENglish. Presentally I have Apache Open office in ENglish and Libre Office in Chinese on the computer but would like to have only LIbre office but in ENglish or even in bilingual support… Not sure if this question is understood as I am not sure of all the correct terms for computer stuff.

Are you installing English LibO on PC with Chinese OS?

Alternative would be to install English Windows with the Asian support package. This statement is valid for XP; and I assume that it is valid for newer OS versions as well. Verifiy with MS.

I do the equivalent with Japanese PC.

As for LibO I am using the Enlish US Version and install there 4 languages for GUI and normal language support. Among them is Japanese; thus it should be possible to do the same with Chinese.

On my PC everything runs just fine.

Ask if you have some more questions I will try to share my former headache painkillers with you.

Your operating system?

If I understand correctly you would like to set English as a LibreOffice user interface language.
