The formatting is text colour and background colour, nothing more. Is there a way to keep the formatting when pasting?
go to the cell you want
ctrl+shift+v
and you get ask which kind of paste you want to have.
choose HTML (the standard!)
so what is exactly not working in your case?
The formatting will not paste. The formatting is only background color and text color. When I paste it in using the HTML formatting as you described, the text is black on a white background, just like I pasted it without any formatting.
