Printing a sheet of labels

So, I bought an A4 sheet of labels today, the sheet says to use Avery Code L7173, however I can’t find anywhere to select or input this code.

Following the instructions on Printing Address Labels - LibreOffice Help, it tells me to click on the Format tab, and select my label format, however when I click on the format tab, all it does is asks me to manually enter a bunch of settings (settings which aren’t really explained anywhere either).

It also seems that I have to link it to a database, which I don’t have, as I just want to print out a sheet of identical address labels. Not some kind of mail-merge.

What am I missing / doing wrong?

Hello,

Following the instructions you pointed to, it specifies the label format and selection are found on the Labels tab page (in the lower right corner) and not on the Format tab.

All the settings you state aren’t explained anywhere are in the online/offline help files (F1). More specific information on this can be found in the LO documentation found here → LibreOffice Writer Guide in Chapter 14 - Mail Merge.

You don’t need a database to print individual labels or a page of the same labels. Please see my answer in this post → How to create a blank labels document.

While going through you help line …after page 4 Creating and registering an address data source…using the wizard in Writer …data source (spreadsheet only let me to pick the file I like to use - it is one sample table from LO Base Tables) and I am getting
C:\Users\user\Desktop\sample work.odb
SQL Status: HY000
C:/Users/user/Desktop/sample%20work.odb could not be loaded … now I am really lost
