Removing a word from dictionary

I added “Vally” to the dictionary during SpellCheck. How can I remove “Vally” from the dictionary?

Tools → Options → Language Settings → Writing Aids. There you have a list of the personal dictionaries: select the “Standard [All]” and click the “Edit” button to delete/modify any word you added.

The answer is here.

@gabix People come here for help. Telling them to help themselves is not helpful…

… and why is the question of the OP downvoted?

I have downvoted the question because it is an RTFM/STFW question. Asking such questions is highly arrogant and disrespectful to many and many people who contributed to the program (coding, testing etc.), to its documentation, online resources including this site.

@gabix Spellcheck related problems in LibO are far from being a “RTMF problem.” But even if they were, being rude is just an arrogant, disrespectful and childish behavior: if you don’t like the question, just skip it and move on. I’ve been on forums and mailing lists for more than 20 years, and I’m convinced that reactions like yours is what keep many people from using free software. You need to RTFM about human relations and behavior: software is just a tool and people need to move on with their lives, pay their bills and all the stuff. Most of them do not have neither the time nor the strength to dig for information about anything or even care if that information is available, they just need to solve their problems. If you want to help people, be helpful, otherwise, look for a different hobby, this one seems not to be working for you.
