Hello I have a LibreOffice Version: 5.1.6.2 in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. I have a set of CSV files that have decimal separator “.”, but in Brazil the decimal separator is “,”.
When I open in LibreOffice the value appears, for example, 123.34 - instead of 123,34
Please, is there a way for importing the CSV from choosing the decimal separator? How is it done in Excel.
Or what command within LibreOffice to change the default of the decimal separator? Thank you
If you open a csv file with LibO you are asked what language settings to use for the import (immediately below the character set). Select English(UK) there (e.g.).
This shouldn’t afflict the document language you have sez otherwise.
