Unprintable characters

My text has a dot after each and every word, plus a paragraph symbol. How do I remove them both?

The text (internally) needs to contain spaces, tab steps, and info about paragraph breaks and hard line breaks anyway, of course.
Someone consciously editing a text should know where these elements are placed, and should, e.g. be able to distinguish a paragraph break from a hard line break, and a hard line break from an automatically generated one. Therefore I would strongly dissuade from switching ‘Formatting Marks’ off.
The aids are never printed anyway.
The Tools>Options dialogue offers more detailed settings for LibreOffice Writer under Formatting Aids.(not under View).

Try hiding Formatting Marks.

It is under the View menu or Ctrl+F10
