Change order of bibliography entires

Hello,

I wrote a paper with bibliography entires (from database). Now, I have to add a paragraph within the paper and I have to add a bibliographic entry. Is there a way to auto sort and name the bibliography symbols ([1]) by document position?

For example

Paragraph 1
text text text [1]

Paragraph2
text text [2]

Added paragraph
text text [x]

Paragraph 3
text text [3]

How can I auto name the [x] symbol to [3] and the [3] to [4]?

Executing “Print preview” of the document and “Update index” on the auto-generated bibliographic index (in this order) works for me.
