Creating a colloquial report from a 1 row query/table

I’d need to create a colloquial report from a 1 row query/table.
With default settings I can easily create a tabular report which doesn’t make much sense with a 1 row of data.

I mean I would like to replace the single fields of the retrieved row within a predefined text. This is what I would call a colloquial report.

I’ve done a few tests while modifying the report layout by using the Insert–>Field command–>Other and then the database I’ve registered with Base.
But I’ve got no luck at all. The documentation seems to me to be too skinny.

Is there any experience about this?

Is there any other advise on how to accomplish such a task?

Take a look in the help to Mail merge, I think is what you are looking for.

Not totally sure I know what you want…but

1 - you can use a form. (have done that many times for folks - just lay the form out in print view mode and then print it, after you open it in data mode)

Maybe I don’t understand what you want though?
