2016-04-13 16:15:15 +0200 질문에 댓글을 달았습니다 Is there a schema for FODT documents ?

Obviously I can modify my schema to allow office:settings within the office:meta block. But I would like to understand why the standard schema is not sufficient for FODT (and thus LibreOffice does not write conforming ODF output).

2016-04-13 16:09:36 +0200 질문하였습니다 Is there a schema for FODT documents ?

I am the author of asciidoc-odf, a tool to generate styled ODF documents from AsciiDoc markup.

Now I am a looking for a way to validate FODT files, since they are different from ODF files (in that they include all sections that are usually separated in the ZIP file). And the normal ODF schema does not support this.

Here is an example of the output from Jing using the ODF schema on an FODT document:

jing -i relaxng/OpenDocument-v1.2-os-schema.rng curriculum-vitae-dag-wieers.fodt
/home/dag/home-made/cv/curriculum-vitae-dag-wieers.fodt:56:19: error: element "office:settings" not allowed here; expected the element end-tag or element "dc:creator", "dc:date", "dc:description", "dc:language", "dc:subject", "dc:title", "meta:auto-reload", "meta:creation-date", "meta:document-statistic", "meta:editing-cycles", "meta:editing-duration", "meta:generator", "meta:hyperlink-behaviour", "meta:initial-creator", "meta:keyword", "meta:print-date", "meta:printed-by", "meta:template" or "meta:user-defined"

I agree, I thought I was doing something wrong and spend more time to it than I care to admit. (I generate ODF output from AsciiDoc so I tend to care a lot of how things are represented)

2015-07-10 22:00:59 +0200 질문에 답변하였습니다 unoconv makes all images anchored as character

Have you tried doing the same using LibreOffice GUI ?

Since unoconv does not modify the content in any way, it must be related to limitations/regressions in HTML import filter or the RTF export filter. You can most likely see which is the problem by opening it yourself in LibreOffice manually.

2015-07-05 15:54:11 +0200 질문에 답변하였습니다 Windows Install UNOCONV

Not sure if this issue is still pertinent, but I have been looking at probable causes and two are known:

One probably cause is that the default port 2002 is in use by another process on the system. The easiest way to find out is using another (random) port that is free, eg. using option -p 12321

Another probable cause is that unoconv is not using the correct environment for the UNO python bindings to work correctly.

If you have a related issue, please chime in in the relevant thread at: https://github.com/dagwieers/unoconv/...

@Pedro: Now that LibreOffice v4.1 will ship with an implementation based on ODF v1.0, would you like to explain your resistance ? I am also very confused that in the same ODF Plugfest (with Rob Weir inside the room) we discussed the WebODF implementation and verified the embedded font examples provided to us, there is still this denial. (It happened only 6 days prior to the comments so it can't be related to bad memory)

No need to fork anymore. It is already implemented and will ship with LibreOffice v4.1 around July 2013. Rejoice \o/

As I told @Pedro a few times, he is wrong, ODF v1.0 supports the functionality and now there is a LibreOffice implementation with a release pending. Good work !

Font Embedding will be implemented in LibreOffice v4.1 using the ODF v1.0 specification. The bugs to track these are for:

LibreOffice release 4.1 is expected in July 2013.

2012-08-31 22:55:27 +0200 답변을 편집했습니다 Is it possible to embed fonts in a Writer/Impress/Calc document ?

The ODF 1.0 specification (PDF) does support font embedding, however neither LibreOffice nor OpenOffice have it implemented at this time. There are only two ODF implementations that support font embedding to some regard, which are Calligra and WebODF.

For LibreOffice there is a ticket fdo#42195, but there is also an OpenOffice ticket going way back to 2003 ooo#20370.

Embedded fonts have come up at various ODF Plugfest meetings, but general support is still lacking at this time. Let's hope this improves soon...

The implementation can embed fonts by either adding it to the packaged (zipped) ODF file in a Fonts/ directory and referencing that file using <svg:font-face-uri>, or by base64-encoding the file (in case of a Flat ODF file).

Update: Font Embedding is implemented and will ship as part of LibreOffice v4.1 (July 2013) using the ODF v1.0 specification.

@Pedro: I don't know what you mean with "designed". The functionality is there (svg:font-face-uri), it can already be used and is already implemented by some producers/consumers. It was discussed at the ODF Plugfest for interoperability, but LibreO does not. You seem to circle around terminology.

2012-08-31 21:19:32 +0200 질문에 답변하였습니다 Export to CSV instead of SaveAs

You can use unoconv to do the conversion to CSV from the command line after saving the most recent version of the file. In case you have to perform an "export" of the same file a lot of times, you could create a shortcut icon or something similar on your desktop/panel to do this conversion when pressed.

The command is:

unoconv -f csv some-file.ods

In case you want to specify more options during the CVS export, you can do this with unoconv (v0.6 and newer):

unoconv -f csv -e FilterOptions=44,34,76 some-file.ods

There are various other options, however most filters don't have documentation listing these options. The one for CSV is available from: http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Documentation/DevGuide/Spreadsheets/Filter_Options

See the unoconv manual page for more information !

Makes sense. On Unix it is the shell that expands wildcards not the tool, on Windows it's probably the tool that expands wildcards and we may have to improve unoconv to also accept wildcards. So it's not exactly a bug. If you care about this functionality in unoconv, feel free to open an issue !

In fact, you don't really need python as a working python (for LibreOffice) ships already with LibreOffice itself. It is even recommended to use this python binary instead of the system's default to avoid incompatibility errors. The command-line shows exactly that :-)

I don't know what exactly you are doing, what version of unoconv you are running, or why it failed. But it works perfectly on my system:

[dag@moria ~]$ unoconv -f svg test.odg
[dag@moria ~]$ ls *.svg
test.svg
[dag@moria ~]$ file test.svg
test.svg: SVG Scalable Vector Graphics image

It also works using wildcards:

[dag@moria ~]$ rm -f test.svg
[dag@moria ~]$ unoconv -f svg *.odg
[dag@moria ~]$ ls *.svg
test.svg
[dag@moria ~]$ file test.svg
test.svg: SVG Scalable Vector Graphics image

I am using unoconv v0.5 and LibreOffice 3.4.5, so it should work !

@Pedro: Again Calibra and WebODF already have it implemented _and_ you can download the test files from the ODF Plugfest, explain that to me? During the meeting Rob did not mention anything about it not being supported. Maybe the ODF v1.3 is beter standardized (e.g. location) or enhanced ? Ask Rob !

@Pedro Interoperability was discussed during the recent ODF Plugfest in Brussels (with Rob Weir attending). Examples using it at http://plugtest.opendocsociety.org/doku.php?id=scenarios:20120419:fontembedding See svg:font-face-uri in the ODF v1.0 standard, as implemented by Calligra and WebODF.

2012-05-21 15:32:06 +0200 질문에 답변하였습니다 [FEATURE REQUEST] External Multiconverter from ODF to PDF

Have you looked at unoconv ? It is a tool to do bulk conversions using LibreOffice. It can manipulate import and export filters so you have all the flexibility as the import and export filters provide you from the GUI on the command line.

2012-05-21 15:30:44 +0200 질문에 답변하였습니다 Why doesn't CLI work when GUI is loaded?

Yes, it is a bug. What you can use instead is unoconv, which communicates with LibreOffice for doing bulk conversions. It also allows to instruct the import and export filters (e.g. to select specific pages to export to PDF, or import files in Unicode) and can iterate over files in a directory so it offers far more flexibility for bulk conversions.

Unoconv works on Linux, MacOS X, FreeBSD and Windows.
