Have only been using Libre Office for a few weeks, not sure what I’m doing. (My program of choice with XP was MSWorks, can’t afford MSWord for windows 10, grateful to have found libre office.) The program crashed while I was in the middle of document, getting a print preview, etc… Tried recovery process. It asked if I wanted to go into safe mode, wasn’t sure what that was, but decided to say yes. Now I can’t get ANYTHING to open. Can’t even get Libre Office 5.3 to open at ALL, let alone the individual document. HELP!!
Kindly do a more thorough job of explaining your problem.
What operating system are you running? Is it Windows XP or something else? If XP, may I assume you are running Service Pack 3?
BTW Microsoft Works (which, back in its day, was an awesome little program), is very old, and has serious compatibility problems with current versions of Microsoft Office.
Have you tried uninstalling LibreOffice completely, and reinstalling the latest version (5.4.0.3, if we are talking about stable releases)? Are you using the correct bit version (32 or 64) for your system?
