Will not install, appears to be looking for non-existent drive.

OS is Windows 10 Home.
Version is 6.0.7
The message is from the installer.
The PC does not have a D drive and has not since I upgraded from the previous OS.
I have done rigorous uninstall, first with CC Cleaner and then by examining the registry.
The displayed message is:-
Error 1327.Invalid Drive: D:\

What is your OS and version?

What LO version are you trying to install?

The OS obviously (with drive D:) is Windows. Anyhow, much too little information. Not even if the message is from the LibreOffice installer itself or something else or how the install was attempted.

First, please use the MS troubleshooter for problems with Windows Installer. Then please do a logged install using this command:

msiexec /i path\to\libreoffice.msi /l*vx c:\libreoffice-install.log

then pack resulting c:\libreoffice-install.log to a ZIP and provide to us (put to a web share and edit your question to add the link; do not use answers to augment your questions!) to be able to suggest you something.

And please note that one-liner questions are usually useless. Important information is missing, like OS, context (previous versions of LO when installing, what you tried, etc. - yes, I see them in your “answer” now, but they should be in the question: answers are meant to answer the original question, not provide additional details to the question).

Gee, I’m so sorry Mike.
Thank you for your time and good luck with the socialisation training.
