Writer - copy keyboard shortcuts to other computer

  Version: 6.1.2.1 on Ubuntu 18.04

How do I copy custom shortcuts from one Ubuntu machine to another? Copy the entire profile or something more fine-tuned?

With Writer open go to

Tools > Customize > Keyboard (tab) > Save (button)

This will prompt you to save and name a configuration file with a .cfg extension.

Then on the new machine go to the same dialog, but use the Load button.
Point that at the configuration file you saved above.

This will load your keybaord shortcuts into the new machine.

If this answered your question please check the checkmark at left.

.

Thank you. Will this append to or overwrite the loading instance?

It will overwrite what is there.
