Export to pdf /vt

As a writer of books and articles which contains lots of graphics in color, and which are both in print and eBook formats, I’m suggested to send my documents, (which I write in Libreoffice) in the PDF /VT format.
Can Libreoffice export to that format.

The pdf VT standard is defined by ISO 16612-2, and I don’t think LibO supports it.
But I also don’t think you need the “V” (variable data). Whether you need the “T” (transactional printing) may depend on specifica I don’t know about.
How did you deliver your scripts up to date? Were there problems with the pdf format you used?

When I look under File Export as > Export As PDF > General I see PDF/A-1a (ISO 19005-1). I do not see PDF/VT in my options.
If this helps then please tick the answer (:heavy_check_mark:) …and/or show you like it with an uptick (∧)

I only see an ‘export to pdf’, without any mentioning which of the eight PDF formats.
The suggestion I got to use the pdf VT was based on the experience of a few people that the VT would give less bad formatting when the PDF is exported to movable eBook format.

What’s bad with LibreOffice 6.1: Release Notes - The Document Foundation Wiki ?

Don’t know whether its bad or not…
I simply don’t understand what is told there.
See my question… I was suggested that … etc. and because I would like to try that out, I asked if my favorite wordprocessor could do that export.
As I understand here, LibO can’t, so that’s it. Because I still want to try it out, I’ve to seek for another tool.
Because I don’t understand the technical info, I would like to compare my existing PDFs with that VT ones to see possible differences.

Well you talked of “eight PDF formats”. Not knowing myself about such details (and not finding affirmative information) I supposed you were technically better informed insofar.
Research and tests, however, if feasible and time is avaiaböle, is a good idea anyway.
You should probably not omit a test of the direct .epub export.
