I have used what I believe was StarOffice. Switched to OpenOffice (3.x, then 4.0, then 4.1). Today I discovered the existence of LibreOffice. So I downloaded it and installed. The first time I entered, it popped up asking if I wanted to recover a file. I said NO. Then I looked at recent documents and found 6. They were from 2013 & 2014! What’s happened?
Believe LibreOffice has its roots in StarOffice and OpenOffice so it makes sense that LibreOffice would remember/recognize documents from it’s digital ancestors.
