Yes sir, I know that it won't round the number actally. But is good enough to get a clear view of the numbers as I need. Unfortunately there is no easy way to add a formula to cells already containing values.

I thought I could add a formula to the already existing values.
But the "Decrease Decimals" button helps me out by decreasing the decimals. Thanks for your valuable time @Lupp

Thank you for a detailed reply sir. Actually the data is imported from a text file. I can't go on on adding the formula to each cell. So, I thought there would be an easier way to add a formula to the entire column. Creating a helper column and then copy paste with the new values is also tedious job as the file is a big one.

I have a column of numbers in decimal format. How can I apply ROUND function to the entire column of existing numbers, say a formula like

=ROUND(theCellValue,0)

Create a custom series of Column A, and then use Sort on Column C by selecting custom sort.
Select the range of data in A and go to Tools->Options->Libreoffice Calc->Sort Lists and add your list to it. In column C select the range and Sort->Custom Sort and select your list in the dropdown.

If you have the Date in A1, then the formula in Conditional Format would be like this

IF($A$1=TODAY())

Select the row you want to format, and then go to conditional format to enter the above formula.

Redhat enterprise linux 5.9 meets all the system requirements as per Libreoffice official website, but when installed and run, it says it requires higher version of GLIBC_2.7

Is there anyway to install Libreoffice latest version on redhat linux 5.9, if so, please give step by step instructions.

The main formula I recommended is =Text(A,"DDDD"), though it wrongly works with Weekday function.

=WEEKDAY(A1)

and formatting the cell as Date - user defined - "NNNN" The other answers are right too.

=Text(A1,"DDDD") will be the best one.

2016-10-21 11:54:16 +0200 stelde een vraag WORKDAY.INTL function not working properly in Libreoffice Calc 5.2.2.2

WORKDAY.INTL function is not taking all the holidays in the list while calculating.
I have data like this :

     A B C
 HOLIDAYS MONTH WORKDAYS
01/10/2016 01/10/2016 03/10/2016
10/10/2016 04/10/2016
11/10/2016 05/10/2016
12/10/2016 06/10/2016
15/10/2016 09/10/2016
29/10/2016 10/10/2016
31/10/2016 16/10/2016
                                17/10/2016
                                18/10/2016
                                19/10/2016
                                20/10/2016
                                23/10/2016
                                24/10/2016
                                25/10/2016
                                26/10/2016
                                27/10/2016
                                30/10/2016
                                31/10/2016

I am using this formula to generate the list of dates in the Month of October 2016. Column A has a list of holidays, Column B has the starting date, and in Column C, I have entered the formula.

=WORKDAY.INTL($C$2,ROWS($D$2:D2),7,$B$2:$B$8)

I have used 7 for weekend - Sunday, but still it is omitting Saturday also. I tried from 1 to 7 for weekend, using 1 omits Sunday. But in all cases, all the Holidays are not excluded from the list of dates.

What I need is a list of dates for a month excluding weekend - Sunday only and also excluding Holidays as per the list in Column A.

Please clarify and give me the right solution. Thanks in advance.
