I need to get presentation onto a dvd and I need the slide presentatipn svaed as a jpeg and I don’t see that option in the save as. I can do it with microsoft but I want to use Libre.
My suggestion is to install an extension called Export as images: https://extensions.libreoffice.org/extensions/export-as-images
This one automatically saves all the pages in a desired format (jpg, png, …) while using built in export you have to do it one page at a time.

The menu “Save” and “Save As…” only save your document in one of the native LibreOffice formats.
In order to export your document to other formats, you need to choose the menu "File : Export...".
There you can select JPEG in the format listbox.
