Download failed

Right now the official site seems to be pathetically slow. The same thing that is causing the main web site to load at a crawl could also cause downloads to fail. The general rule of thumb is that if the web site is having problems rendering, downloads from that site will likely also experience issues.

Torrent looks for other places where the file can be fetched so it will likely be less subject to single-site slowdowns.

Even if that weren’t the problem, I suppose some build could have an issue, but to reproduce it would be necessary to know the version and build you were going after. If you are relying on the automatic selection of the file, the download page should tell you which, e.g., for me, the build is listed as:

LibreOffice Windows, version 4.0.1, English (US). Not the version you wanted? Change System, Version or Language

The bold above (Windows, version 4.0.1, English (US)) identifies the particular build it detected and suggested for downloading: Windows, English, version 4.0.1.

On internet there are also a lot of mirrors. I personally like the most filehippo.com, so for LibreOffice you can also download program from: http://www.filehippo.com/download_libreoffice/14499/
