Is there a way to get a refund of my donation?

I no sooner sent a $50 donation than I discovered that LibreOffice doesn’t work anymore.

I have the “The last time you opened LibreOffice…” bug. The workaround files mention a “library” folder, which doesn’t exist on my MacBook.

I will be spending hours recreating my files, and I’d like my donation back.

Can this be arranged?

IMHO, once a donation is given, one should forget about it. It is a ‘donation’, not a price paid for any goods or services.
(Disclaimer: I am in no way related with the LO development team. Only a proud user of LO).

Secondly, one can get his/her LO related problems solved with the help of community.
What more, there are problems in licensed software also.
Let’s help those who build the open source software for us.

Cheers.

Thanks. I hope someone knows the answer to my question.

Don’t know if you can get refund back, probably will be difficult. But you can’t always expect that everything will be working for all users. I see this problem was already asked on forum, see details: LibreOffice startup always asking reopen windows

Thanks. I hope someone knows the answer to my question.
