Libre Office 4.2 Docx Picture Print Issues

I have a document that a user receives from one of our vendors that contains an excel table pasted into a docx file as a picture. Everything about the table from the headers, colors, and outline prints just fine but the numbers in the table do not print at all. If you print it from word viewer w/compatibility pack it prints out fine. If you try to convert it to doc or odf in Libre it will still not print the numbers in the table. I’m having trouble finding anything to troubleshoot this issue so any help would be greatly appreciated. I can send the file to anyone who wants to look at it.

Thank you in advance.

I got some assistance from someone on another forum. The guy did great work in finding this out and this is from my conversation with him:

It turns out the images you have are actually Windows Metafiles (WMF), which means they’re not bitmap data but rather vector images. This explains why part of them may print correctly and the rest doesn’t. Unfortunately it also means there’s not much that you can do if LO refuses to render them correctly.

The solution is to right click on the image and choose “Compress Graphic”. When the Compress Graphic dialogue comes up uncheck “Reduce Image Resolution” to keep the image the same. Click OK and it will convert the WMF file into a bitmap that prints correctly. This was done on the Windows version of Libre Office 4.2.
