In Writer, how does one center a page vertically?
In previous versions, this could be done, but I don’t see it now.
Please edit the question to more clearly indicate what content is being centred. A page is a container that itself cannot be centred as there is no larger container (other than the document). Thanks.
There is currently no method of vertically centring text content within a page (this is not supported by the ODF v1.2 specification). You will need to place your text within a Frame:
- Insert > Frame….
- Ensure Width is set to Automatic and Height is set to AutoSize.
- Set Position to Horizontal > Center > Entire Page and Vertical > Center > Entire Page.
- Click OK.
- Enter your text.
Adjust as required.
