Why this extension fails to install on WinXP, but it succeeds on Win7

The following extension http://berma.pagesperso-orange.fr/Files_en/SimpleDemo.zip doesn’t work in LibO Writer 5,
so I rewrote it a bit, here is my version http://koktail.net/sandbox/ImageInsert-L-0.1.oxt.

I found out recently, that it doesn’t install on WinXP box, while on Win7 it installs flawlessly.

Message from installation phase, doesn’t help me:

Correction: I tried on another machine with WinXP box, installed On LibO 5.2.3.3, then installed the extension without any problems and it works!

Prehaps problem lays somewhere in LibO “registry”?
