2015-02-10 14:33:36 +0100 Perguntou How to avoid creating paragraphs on pasting

In Writer, pasting text from the terminal results in each line being a new paragraph. The same happens when copying and pasting text from any plain-text source (e.g. other text editors). This is consistent with the behaviour when entering text manually (i.e. hitting carriage return results in a new paragraph) but is not what I want when copying and pasting. Is there any way to make newlines in pasted text show up as newline characters rather than paragraph breaks?

2013-07-16 16:17:15 +0100 Perguntou How to generate numbered callouts in Writer

I am trying to figure out how to reproduce this effect in writer:

(apparently my karma is insufficient to publish links, so delete the space between htt and p in order to view the image I am talking about - maybe somebody with higher karma can edit this for me if they see it.)

i.e. I have a chunk of source text, and I want to label particular bits of it with numbered circles and then have the annotations below the source text. Can anybody suggest the best way to do this? Ideally, I'd like to avoid having to do it by positioning images manually for each annotation.
