How to delete unwanted Styles and Formatting options in LibreOffice?

Hi all,

I’m trying to create a template which uses only four or five format Styles. Is there a way to delete all the other options which I do not want, or is that pop-up box a global box, which is available to ALL documents?

For any custom styles you’ve created, you can right click on the style names and delete them. There are quite a few styles that come included in the default template. These cannot be deleted, but they can be hidden. For those, right-click and select Hide. But the best solution would be to create your custom styles, click on the drop-down at the bottom of the Styles and Formatting window and choose Custom Styles. This option will only show the custom styles you’ve created for the template, which is what you’re after. Then save your template. The styles in the Styles and Formatting window are only for the current document.

Doesn’t work for me either - with Libre Office 4.1.3.2
In the Style widget, rightclick on a paragraph style that I just created myself (so not from a template), select “Delete…” and press Enter; nothing whatsoever happens. No confirmation dialog, nothing!

When you select Delete, the resulting window appears asking if you want to delete the style, Yes/No. The focus is on No by default. So if you just hit enter, you will be selecting No to not delete the style. Can you try again and select Yes with the mouse and tell us if that works? It is working correctly on 4.1.2.3.
