I just got Mac OS BigSur; libreoffice files will not open using LibreOffice 6.3.5002; which was just recently downloaded. Why isn’t this working?! Complaints are already being register with Apple.

Nobody knows, because we are not sitting at your macOS and you don’t describe what you are seeing, what you are doing exactly and which error messages you possibly get.
What I’m seeing is the libreoffice icon BOUNCING on the dock, and nothing else happens, aside from some recent files listed, which, when clicked, do not open either. Other than that, there is nothing to see. Will not open from any of the menus, or even from a terminal command.
Download a new version of LibreOffice; or perhaps reinstall your older one. It’s working now on v. 7.0.3.1. Sorry for the bother; perhaps this might help someone; I hope it does.
Only LibreOffice 7.0 and newer works on macOS 11 Big Sur. Devs don’t know why
I’m with Big Sur and since then having an unfocused/blurred letters and numbers problem. With 7.0 and also with the 7.1 Dev.
I had the same issue and installed LibreOffice 6.4.7.2.
I can start LibreOffice now, and have no issues so far.
