Not sure how to go about associating an email. In the file column it has a send to using mail in pdf format.
There is no problem exporting the document as a pdf or then emailing the pdf as an attachment. But this feature is handier for what I need right now.
Please don’t make your subject titles so long.
Addition to the answer: The standard E-Mail App provided as the operating system’s default app must be capable to handle Simple MAPI requests. This is fulfilled by Thunderbird, but e.g. not by GMail (or any other browser based email solution) or by Microsoft Windows 10 app Mail (any solution from MS likely doesn’t work since MS moved from Simple MAPI to MAILTO, which is not supported by LibreOffice).
