Some users, among them myself, don't like the way document windows open at the same time are presented (e.g.) in the taskbar of Windows. The way to use the 'Windows' item of the main menu for an overview and for switching also is not completely satisfactory. It seems there were discussions about the issue, and there are enhancement requests aiming at a tabbed main window or even an MDI like makeup.

Shouldn't it be rather simple for an experienced programmer to create (per OS family probably) a little application outside LibO allowing to capture all the document windows created by one application (here LibO) into a specialised tab-bar on the respective desktop? It might even offer a tiling or cascading option for specific applications. I couldn't yet find one searching the web.
