Pasted Text Turned into Image [closed]

When I pasted a bunch of formatted text from OneNote into a new document in Writer, it was inserted as a massive picture instead.

When I tried copying and pasting just a few words of that text, they were also turned into an image.

When I pasted the text into Notepad to strip out the formatting, then pasted the result into Writer, it showed up as text.

1) What is causing this unexpected behavior?

2) Other than changing my key bindings to automatically paste as unformatted text, what can I do to have Writer paste its best approximation of the formatting instead of transforming text into an image?

Calc shows the same behavior.

(I don't use 'OneNote'.)
My first guess would be that MS OneNote does not regard some standard when delivering formatted content to the clipboard.

You may want to study the bug report tdf#103183 to see if is related to your issue. You may then decide if you contribute to the discussion of that bug or if you need to create a new report.

Maybe it's pasted as OLE object, please test with paste special options Menu/Edit/Paste special.
