How to create columns in a text area?

Hey guys !
I’m designing a journal on LibreOffice Draw, and I just needed to create columns in a text area ?

Is there any way to do it ? Or Libreoffice doesn’t imply this possibility ?

I know that I could create two text area, side by side, but it’s not working when a sentence has to be cut in the middle. It creates a blank area a the end of the last line.

By the way, scuze my engliosh, I’m french.?

See you and long life to libreoffice !
Cheers/

Andy

Draw does not offer the possibility to automatically distribute text on columns. You need to either fake the columns using two carefully aligned text boxes or to insert a Writer document as an OLE object.

OLE objects can be a bit… frustrating at times so, you know, better two small text boxes than one big headache

Thanks mate.
Indeed, I’de like to avoid the big headache !
Thanks for the quick reply.
I’ll try OLE, but I don’t know very well how to manipulate this king of thing…

I think I will try this on scribus : this could be more appropriate.

Thanks again !
