Entering items that do export to pdf but do not print

As a self-employed social worker I have some invoice templates made in Writer. In the end of every month I complete the invoices and print them on business stationery or send them by e-mail in pdf format. Of course export to pdf does not include the information that’s on my stationery, such as company name and address. Therefore I’d like to create invoice templates that include this information, but don’t print it. I’ve put all the information in frames and made those frames non-printing, but then they don’t appear on pdfs anymore either.

Is there any way to create frames/pictures/whatever on my invoices that do export to pdf but do not print?

(yes, some of my clients do need paper invoices, something called bureaucracy…)

Well, I found a solution that suits me: in the print dialog you can uncheck printing graphic objects, which eliminates all frames as well. Since my invoices contain no graphic objects that need printing, that works. I’ve put everything that I don’t want printed in frames, so they don’t print but do appear on pdfs.

However if you do need graphic objects to be printed, this solution will not work. Therefore, it’s more of a workaround than it is a solution. Good enough for me, but if anyone would have a real solution that would be appreciated
