Can “Borders” tool in Calc remember and reuse last used option like “Background color” tool?
During editing of big tables with many borders formatting it`s boring to choose needed option every time.
By clicking “Borders” tool you always get 9cell option popup. Would be great to get last used option by clicking Borders tool and get 9cell options by clicking little arrow (right to Borders tool). Like it is in “Background color” tool.

I guess you are talking about the boarders and background buttons on the Formatting toolbar. In version 3.5.4 the background color isn’t remembered. You can also apply boarders/backgrounds, etc. by using Format/Cells on the main menu or by right-clicking in a cell and choosing Format Cells from the context menu.

You can duplicate a cell’s format characteristics to another cell or group of cells by clicking on the source cell, then clicking the Format Paintbrush, then clicking (or dragging) on the target cells.

Both of these methods are ways of applying direct formatting to a cell. An alternative is to define cell styles that have the desired characteristics. Then a cell’s format can be changed to match a defined style. It may be worthwhile to review the Calc Styles and Formatting document on this web site. https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/Publications#LibreOffice_Writer_Guide

If you do choose to go with styles, please remember that any direct formatting you already have will override a style. Use Format/Clear Direct Formatting before applying styles.
