Can anyone provide the History Master extension?
I cannot find it and I think this thread "Suppress Recent Document List [closed]" is not solved yet. Thank you

Hello @Carlo,
The extension "History Master" from Bernard Marcelly can now be downloaded from this page. ( Right-click on the link "Version 1.1.1" and select "Save Link As..." ).
EDIT 2017-07-12 To remove all the items from the Recent Files History List, you could set the property "PickListSize" to zero:
1. Select the menu "Tools : Options : LibreOffice : Advanced",
2. Click the button "Expert Configuration",
3. in the dialog box that pops up, type the word "PickListSize",
4. Select the listed item with Property = "PickListSize", and doubleclick on the "Value" field,
5. in the dialog box that pops up, type the value 0 for PickListSize.
6. click OK.
Thank you very much.... I installed it on my Mac in the hope that it would remove the list of recent items, when I right-click on the Libreoffice Icon in the DOCK. However, it does not seem to work for this purpose and I have not found a workaround yet. If you have any idea how to clear the recent items from the DOCK Libreoffice Icon, I would really appreciate it. Thank you very much.
Hi and thanks.
Why is this extension not available from within LibreOffice (https://extensions.libreoffice.org/) itself?
Apologies if it's a daft question - I'm relatively new to this and trying to understand.
Cheers
Sorry for the long delay but I've only recently started using LibreOffice. Here's an easy way to clear the history in Windows 10 or lower. It works by creating a copy of the xcu file and restoring it when necessary. If you have a problem with the zipfile, I can email them to you.
Save the attached file, rename it as a zipfile by changing the .doc suffix to .zip (You may have to un-tick "Hide known extensions" in file options) and unzip it. This will produce a folder named "Clear recent" with 2 cmd files in it. You can right-click and edit the command files to see what's in them.
Make sure your setup is working correctly.
Open the LibreOffice startup and clear the list.
Run the "LibreOffice Copy List" command file.
Now, anytime you need to clear the list, just run the "LibreOffice Clear List" command file.
If you need to modify your setup, run the "LibreOffice Clear List" command file, open the LibreOffice program you wish to modify, close “LibreOffice" and run the "LibreOffice Copy List" command file again.C:\fakepath\Clear recent.zip.doc
