Text in columns feature is hidden

Hello, i would like to know where’s the Text in Columns feature. According to documentation it is in Data > Text in Columns but it looks like the GUI got renewed these days.

These are the specs:

• LibreOffice: 5.3.4.2 OS Name:
• Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise OS
• Version:10.0.15063 N/A Build 15063

Did your cell D8 contain a text or a number?

Hello @cyepes117,

The Text to Column feature is still available inside the menu Data, but you first have to select some cells from 1 column, then choose the menu “Data : Text to Columns…”.

Ther must also be at least one cell not being blank in the selected range.
