All entries are black or grey squares after a new installation in Win 10 Home.
Please test changing OpenGL status.

I could only find OpenCL (not GL) status which I checkmarked but there was no change after restarting the program.
Deselect one (or two…) of the checked possibilities in Graphics Output, mainly hardware acceleration.
Are you working on LO 5.2.x? Please specify.
