How to read custom color from file (Libreoffice 4.0RC3)

Hello community,

In Libreoffice 3.6 I had added some custom colors to my color palette. After installation of Libreoffice 4.0.3, these got lost. I do not recall the exact RGB values, but I have files where these colors are used in styles. Is it possible to retrieve the RGB values from e.g. a calc sheet or to add a color used in the file to the color palette somehow?

The installation of LO 4.0.x doesn’t remove the user profile of LO 3.x.

You should find your customized color palette (of LO 3.6.x) as "standard.soc" in the directory "...\LibreOffice\3\user\config"
(on Windows).

Rename "standard.soc" in the newly created directory "...\LibreOffice\4\user\config" (of LO 4.0.0) to "standard.soc.bak", and replace it with the file "standard.soc" from the directory "\LibreOffice\3\user\config".

That should (hopefully) restore your color palette of LO 3.6.x.
