Some original docs were doc and some docx and some otd. Various documents were updated over the course of the day. All were saved regularly during the course of work. When trying to print, some disappeared completely. Some only contained the last work and none of the original and some files will no longer open – error message about some problem with the file suffix. My wife has lost a full day of work – given that it is 9:00 pm – a very full day of work. Is there any remedy?
After much frustration I did a restart for the computer. It came back on and I clicked on the Libre Office icon, then it showed a window for recovering one of the recently closed pages. After that page recovered, the rest of my Libre Office items, (text, spreadsheets, etc.) were also back to what I had last closed before this fiasco.
