Hey, all. I’ve been searching and rooting around in LibreOffice’s settings, but I can’t get my footer to cooperate.
Ideally, I would just be able to have a different footer on every page, which I could edit freely, but that doesn’t seem to be an option. What I am trying to accomplish is twofold: One, I want LibreOffice to ignore the first three or so pages when numbering. Presently, when I try to number the pages, it counts the first three as the first three. I want it to begin counting on the fourth page.
Second, I want the nature of the footer to change based on the chapter that the page is part of. So, the pages that are part of the introduction will read, “Introduction” at the bottom. The pages that are part of the first chapter will read, “Chapter 1” at the bottom. And so on and so forth.
This is a solid thirty-page document I’m working on, so making a new page style for all thirty pages seems a tad ridiculous. How do I go about manipulating the footer to my ends?
Thank you.
