Numbers in the toolbar and menus are being chopped off

I just downloaded and installed Libre, so, yes, I’m a very new user. I went into Writer to start poking around and immediately noticed that the font size looked wrong.

As you can see above, the leading ‘1’ of ‘12’ is chopped off. Now, I looked around and saw a screenshot or two from Linux installations and they do not have chopped off numbers, so I find myself a bit puzzled. I suppose this is rather minor in the overall scheme of things, but I’d like to find out what’s causing this and fix it.

Also, although I’ve only included the one screenshot, it is not just the font size doing this. Any menu that shows numbers of any kind (spacing between paragraphs, leading tabs, etc) cuts off a portion of the leading digit.

In a related manner, is there any way to increase the size of the text boxes so I can read all of the contents? (Above, I’m sure everyone can see that part of Times New Roman is hidden)

Pls, inform about LibreOffice version and OS.

Pls test changing OpenGL status Menu/Tools/Options/LibreOffice/View

Thanks, that worked perfectly!

In a slightly belated addition: Version 5.4.0.3 (x64) and Windows 7. Sorry, totally should’ve put that in my question, but I didn’t even think of it.
