Page numbering issue in Writer

I recently pasted a doc from a textedit file into LO.

I pasted a 320 pg doc from TextEdit into Writer I followed the instructions to insert Page number and Page count fields, and can’t get numbering to work past the 1st page. I created a new doc (6pgs) and tried it and it worked fine. I’m assuming there’s page break conflicts or something? Is there a global ‘format fix’ for this? Thanks!

Have all pages the same page style?

As far as I know all pages are the same style. I didn’t do anything deliberately to change styles, but may have accidentally. Since it only numbers page 1, I assume the 2nd page (maybe more) would have a different style? Thanks for your help!
