While running a budget spreadsheet I wrote years ago, the macros in them run slow in Calc 5.3 and 5.4. You can see them progress through the spreadsheet while in 5.2 they are barely detectable.
Have a look here to see if your experiences are similar to mine. I think the same set of concerns is showing up in many different ways. By fragmenting our reports the true concern does not seem to be noticed. Maybe if we report together we will get more attention.
