Just install Ubuntu Oneiric and gnome-session-fallback. Whenever I instantiate Writer from the desktop menu, there is no horizontal scroll bar. Tools>options>LibreOffice Writer>View show Horizontal Scrollbar enabled. If I resize the Writer window in any way (increase/decrease length or width), the horizontal scrollbar immediately appears. Also, if I click Ruler the scrollbar will appear.
Is this a bug or a feature? I find it very annoying to have to constantly resize the window so that I can scroll horizontally. Vertical scrollbar works fine.
