LOW Printing Problem: Rotated Text/Images

I don’t print a whole lot, rather I make and send pdfs. I think this problem arose in 5.4.0.3 for MacOS.

The problem is that text and images in a portrait document, that appears normal in the window and in print preview and in a pdf if I make one, will print from Writer rotated 90 degrees right. The paper/page is still portrait, but the content of the page is rotated. It shows in the preview of the print window, only.

A pdf made using LO prints normally.

The printer is an HP1505n (but the problem shows even when the printer is not installed).

Thanks for any assistance.

This appears to be answered below. Libreoffice 5.4.0 writer portrait document prints as landscape

The solution is to change the dimension of the page from 8.5x11 to 8.51, apparently.

for others that may find this thread.
The current workaround is:
Format → Page → Page: Paper Format, Width: and change the width from 8.50" to something like 8.52"

Yes! This solution worked for me. Thanks!
