Wish to select a column (in a Calc spreadsheet) of length 10, say, E10 through E19, and populate it with integer values from a specified interval of a uniform distribution.
From the menu, I select Insert > function to bring up a box, under “category” I select “statistical”, but there does not appear to be a uniform distribution available.
Select the range, then go >‘Sheet’ > ‘Fill Cells’ > ‘Random Number…’ and be happy with the plethora of offers.
(In olöder versions '‘Fill’ was under ‘Edit’.)
