How can I count a particular word in Calc?

I want to count a special word in LibreOffice Calc. How do I do that?

If you want to do it for a range in a formula, use COUNIF.

If you need that information once (to get some idea), you may just use Find & replace, find all and select Count in status bar statistics area.
