Select a word that includes dashes

Is there a way to do this?

For example: If I have a syntax rule name in a specification document “magical-stmt” and I double-click on either sub-word (magical or stmt), only that sub-word is selected (double-clicking the dash only selects the dash). The double-click selection does not span inter-word dashes. The only way I’ve found to select the entire word is to drag-select or shift-click from one end of the word to the other. This is both time consuming and error prone as you can easily miss the exact placement of the selection cursor and miss a letter at the start or the end.

Is there a way to configure LibreOffice temporarily or for a specific document to treat the dash as a word letter for double-click word selection or is there another way to select a word that will include the dashes? The only option I’ve found that relates is the Writer->General->Word Count: Additional separators text box, but that is only for word counting and not word selection.

No. But if you first double-click on one part, and then move mouse with pressed left button, then you’ll select following words, not single characters.

That will do. At least it is a lot quicker and much more accurate than any other method.
Thank you for your help.
