How do I export/install a toolbar with macros

I am using LO4 Writer and I have a created a set of 20 macros that manipulate text and also created a toolbar to run these macros. (This is essentially a copy of something I had in M$Word). It works fine and does what I expect.

What I need to be able to do is export the toolbar+macros to other machines running LO4 and here I get completely stumped. I have tried saving the document as a template, but the template manage seems to be broken - I can’t create a new folder to save the template in - it seems to have to go inside the mediawiki template, which definitely feels wrong.

What I have also noticed (by saving the template to disk) is that the template only seems to contain the macros - the toolbar doesn’t seem to be part of it. Am I doinfg something wrong here.

What I need is a simple way of packaging up the macros+ template so that I can install them on any computer running LO. I can’t find anything in the documentation that explains how I might do this (at least not in language I can understand).

Yes, I can find an XML file in the user profile that corresponds to the toolbar, but this doesn’t seem to be a very easy way to install a custom toolbar - surely there is an easier way.Remember I also need to add the macros plus a few icon images for the toolbar. Way too complicated.

In Linux these changes are saved to this directory: .config/libreoffice/4/user/config/soffice.cfg/modules/swriter/toolbar

To find your user profile on Windows machine, take a look here (it’s contents since 4 should be similar, though): https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile
