Why does the setting in Writer for 1 sided printing change back to 2-sided printing after I have saved the document multiple times

strong text I have used LibreOffice for several years. in the past 3-4 months every time I open and print a document in Writer even if I have just RE-saved it the day before the setting change in Print - Finishing from print 1 side to 2 sided printing… I change it back and RE-Save doc again and by the next time I use it again it has changed back to 2 sides. Is there a setting I am missing?

I even about a month ago rather than updating I actually deleted the program and re-downloaded it. That has not changed anything… Please help

What option exactly do you refer to? Might it be that you refer to a printer driver’s option that you somehow managed to make default on the OS level, and LO has nothing to do with that?

Sorry – I think this was a user mistake… my bad.

I was not thinking about the fact that we had re-installed the printer a couple of times and it had not been reset to single sided printing.
