I have been writing a newsletter using the presentation slideshow program in Libre. It allows me to add music or sound to a slide(s).. But when I go to save in .pdf format I lose the sound when viewing. Can you help? Thank you for your attention.

Hi @Michael Gray,

It looks like it's possible to embed audio in a pdf, however I don't think LibreOffice supports this feature via PDF export.

(Note: It's very possible that PDFA/1-a doesn't include audio support at all, although if I remember correctly, LO does allow the user to output a more expressive PDF than what is allowed in PDFA)

Please file an enhancement bug and provide information about how/what you want to embed re: audio. Don't forget to mark your bug as an 'enhancement'. The QA team will be happy to help you triage your feature request in the bugtracker.

Please post a link to any bugs you file in a comment below using the format "fdo#123456".

Thanks!
